Currently alternating between reading Li Wen Jiu and Chun Feng Yao. Li Wen Jiu has become my latest favourite author. The main plot really shines in her novels, the romance subplot less so. That said, I do like plot-driven stories starring power couples, and Li Wen Jiu manages to make "play MMORPG" novels fun to read.
Chun Feng Yao's novels are more of a mixed bag. The absurd comedy in her novels can be a hit or miss, and the main characters rarely talk (and at times, act) like real life people. It's less of an issue when the story takes place in a pseudo-historical or cultivation world. Chun Feng Yao's writing does manage to make me laugh every so often though, so there's that.
